Pete helped build the world's fastest futures trading strategy using custom silicon at Citadel Securities, and more recently, he worked with a small team running quant research for crypto HFT across multiple CEX and DEX venues. Pete experienced the benefits of electronic trading firsthand, witnessing his retail transaction costs go to zero. He believes that high frequency trading has automated market making to the benefit of us all and sees the future of efficient markets as merging HFT trading functions into the exchange.

Ben started building low-level software as a systems researcher at Brown working on cryptography, privacy, and databases. As an engineer and quantitative developer, he's designed profiling tools for distributed systems and built low-latency systems for trading crypto. Now at PAX, Ben is building a next-generation financial exchange with venue-integrated trading functions. Ben believes in building systems that are both fast and secure, and he's excited to apply that vision to exchange technology at PAX.
